“Men are intimidated by me.  My friends say, ‘You have to find someone more famous and successful than you, or someone who’s so happy with their own life that they can handle the attention you get.’  I want to be worshipped and adored, but then again I also love to be ignored.”  That was Chloe Sevigny.  I’m a bit of a crazy girl too!  I would like to be worshipped and adored but I don’t need to be ignored.  Been there, done that.  I’m Chloey - spelled with a ‘y’ so you won’t get me confused with the famous movie star!  I’m a female salt & pepper Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail.  I’m about one-year old and I weigh fourteen pounds.  I’m still a puppy so I have a lot of things yet to learn.  I’m crate trained but I still need help with my house training.  A little one-on-one time with you should do the trick!  I get along with other dogs and like to play but the pack makes me a little hyper…and makes me bark!  Maybe I should think about joining a home where I’m the only four-legged friend!  Don’t be intimidated by me - I can be your very best forever pet!  Ask for me, Chloey Marie, on your MSRH adoption application!  Adoption Fee:  $450

The most beautiful of young men was the son of King Sinyras of Cyprus and Myrrha.  The gods turned Myrrha into a tree and, out of its trunk, Adonis was born.  When Aphrodite saw him she fell desperately in love, and when he was killed while hunting a wild boar, she pleaded with Zeus to bring him back.  Zeus agreed but Adonis had to stay in the underworld during winter and be with Aphrodite in the summer thus making the vegetation die in the winter and blossom in the summer.  So - as summer approaches - I am your blossom!  I’m Adonis, a most handsome male, salt & pepper Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail.  I’m about three years old and I weigh thirty pounds!  When my hair grows back, I’m going to have to fight to keep the ladies off me!  I only have love for my forever home family!  I’m very affectionate and I love to be petted.  I’m bigger than many Schnauzers but that doesn’t stop me from thinking I’m a lap dog!  I’m crate trained but still need help and practice with my house training.  I’m working on it….a handsome man should also be house trained I’m told!  Sometimes I make funny noises to entertain you.  My foster mom says that I know how to ’moo’!  Stop it mom….handsome men don’t moo.  Spring is here and I want to be the blossom that brightens your home!  Ask for me, Adonis - Mr. Handsome - on your MSRH adoption application!  Adoption Fee:  $350

“….I just can’t wait ’till the day, when you knock on the door.  Now every time I go for the mailbox, gotta hold myself down!  ‘Cause I just can’t wait ’till you write that you’re comin’ around!”  I’m Debra Lynn and I’m a female, white Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail.  I’m just over a year old and I weigh only thirteen pounds.  I came here from Louisiana….so I’m used to the finer things in life….beads, boudin, biscuits ….that kind of thing!  I’m a little bit shy - and I like to get to know folks before I just start showering them with kisses - but my foster mom says I’m coming out of my shell!  I am pretty good around other dogs….until there gets to be a crowd.  Then I start to get a little nervous about it all.  I’m good with other dogs but my preference would be to be your only four-legged friend.  I think I’d also be best in an all-adult home.  If you’re an experienced Schnauzer owner, all the better!  If you give me some attention, I’ll just shower you with kisses!  I’ve learned how to use a doggie door and I’m also great on a leash!  All in all, since I came to MSRH, I just can’t stop smiling!  In fact, “I’m walkin’ on sunshine….And don’t it feel good?!”  Ask for your little ray of sunshine, Debra Lynn, on your MSRH adoption application!  Adoption Fee:  $450

“Where oh where are you tonight?  Why did you leave me here all alone?  I searched the world over and thought I’d found true love.  You met another and – pfft! - you were gone!”  That Hee-Haw show was a knee-slapping, never-know-what-to-expect, good time!  It’s kind of like being (or raising) a puppy - there’s something new at every turn!  My name is Ari and I’m a male, black Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail.  I’m only about four months old and I weigh just six pounds.  I don’t yet know any commands nor do I know how to walk on a leash.  I did however learn to chew on a shoe (I’ll try to stop that by the time you adopt me!).  Did you notice the little bit of dirt on my nose?  Honestly, I don’t know how it got there!  I am just about house trained using a doggy door - not bad for a four month old!  I travel well and, at night, I can sleep the whole night through on a dog bed!  I love my toys and I love playing with other Schnauzers.  I’d really like a home that has another four-legged occupant!  I’m your chance to mold a puppy to be just like you’d like it!  If you’re ready for the excitement (and challenges) of raising a puppy, and you have some experience doing it, then ask for me, Ari, on your MSRH adoption application!  Adoption Fee:  $450
