Hey All - MSRH will be manning a booth at PetFest in Old Town Spring! The event will be held on October 18 and 19, 2008. Just a week after our 2008 Annual Fall Garage Sale in Katy (see other post in this section), is the “Rummage for Rescue” sale organized by The Woodlands Dog Park Club. MSRH will have one of ten Rescue Organization tables and we need your donations (and time!) at this sale too! Maybe the Katy sale will be a bit too far from you. Or better, maybe you have the energy to clean out even more closets and can support both garage / rummage sale events! All proceeds generated from our donations go to MSRH! When: Saturday, October 25; 7:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. (Site MUST be set-up by 6:45 a.m. No late entries!
Where: 25211 Grogans Mill Road (the parking lot next to Amerigos and also faces Sawdust Road)
Who: YOU! To help transport, organize, price and then sell all the terrific items our team is going to bring!

OK, Team - - There’s not much time!! Let’s get in those closets and do some late summer cleaning in preparation for the annual MSRH Autumn Garage Sale coming up in October! What you don’t need, we can use! Your donations help support our fabulous program and cover costs that aren’t always covered by adoption fees. Go through those Halloween and Christmas boxes! Go through the kids’ closets! Give us those books you’ve already read! Let’s make this the biggest garage sale event yet! Here’s the details:
Turn on the camera and start taking those pictures! Your pet could be a “Pethouse” Playmate star in our popular schnauzer calendar for 2009!! Maybe you have the beautiful and petite Miss April or the muscular and strikingly handsome Mr. July! Pictures should be sent to schnauzercalendar@yahoo.com and must be received by October 1, 2008. Winning entries receive a tour of the infamous Playmate Mansion. Not really …. but you will receive a free schnauzer calendar ….. and that’s even better! These calendars make great (and easy!) Christmas gifts! Start working on your gift list today!
Contest rules: Please submit only one photograph per entry. If you have multiple ‘playmates’, you can send in multiple entries (but no more than one entry per ‘playmate’). Multiple ‘playmates’ in the same photograph are acceptable. High resolution, digital photographs are required. At a minimum, resolution should be 640 x 480. Higher resolutions are preferred so as to maximize placement / printing flexibility. Check your camera instructions and choose the resolution that corresponds best for printing 5×7 or 8×10 size photographs.
MSRH had a very successful garage sale during the month of June 2008 in Katy, TX. The sale brought in over $1,600! Thank you for your support and thank you to the donors and volunteers!!
