Well, the little runt is 4 months old today.  It has been 3 weeks since she got her cast off and she has just started to use her leg.  She is just so energetic and keeps the Board house in a constant  uproar.  Kandi, Shadow and Misty really don't mind though! I think she has brought the kid out in them again.  Wish she could work on Prissy but I think Prissy is just too old and is set in her ways.  Prissy will be 14 in May, I pray everyday that she will make it but here lately age is taking it's toll on her little by little.  Liza Poo Poo takes turns wrestling with all of them throughout the day, well, that and tearing the toy box out.  She such a sweetheart and is a real gem!

Thanks, Sandra

We are doing fabulous and Millie is a doll.  She sticks with Patrick and guards our house from anything visible at the window.  Millie decided she likes The Cat's food so that has been relocated.

Hi my name is Sparkles and I'm just a little girl.  I was found wondering the streets of Houston on 4 July 2005.  That's how I got my name.  My mom and dad adopted me last August after they lost their little boy schnauzer "buddy" to cardiomyopathy.  Mom said it was really hard to loose Buddy, but she knows I'm a gift from him.

In November we moved to germany and I love it.  Mom bought me a pick fleece coat and pink booties so I wouldn't get cold. I saw my first ever snow (and a lot after that) and I like to play in it.  I also like to eat it, although mom and dad aren't too crazy about that.  I go with my folks whenever they travel and we have lots of fun.  Everywhere I go I'm treated like a princess and everyone adores me.  I even had a Japanese tourist take pictures of me because he thought I was so cute in my pink ensemble.  So you can see, I'm doing great and appreciate all of the help Miss Karen gave me.

Sincerely,
Sparkles Bingham and of course Kandis Bingham

Hi. My name is Casey Oliver. I came to my new family on January 31, 2006 and boy do I love it. I have two precious little girls and a Mommy who love me very much. The Daddy of the house tolerates me, which I guess is all I can ask for. I have a great big yard to run and play in. I like to chase the birds! I get to go for lots of car rides and walks. My new family says that I am the best dog they have ever had. I don't bark much, I don't jump on people, and I don't lick. My human friends wish I did though. Me and my family will be forever grateful to MSRH for bringing us together. Thanks a ton!!

Toby is doing great!! We debated a name change, but after researching the meaning of Tobias and learning it means "God is good", we decided to keep it! God is good to have kept Toby safe in his past life and to ultimately deliver him to us.  Toby adores his "daddy", loves to play fetch, go for walks, and is in obedience classes. He has brought us such joy, and has fit right into our home and family - he loves everyone and everyone loves him! We are so blessed to have him - thank you MSRH!

We adopted "Jesse" on July 30, 2006 and after considering several different new names, we had christened him "Beau" by the time we arrived at his forever home. Our 12-year-old schnauzer, Pepper, had passed away in April after a battle with cancer and our 13-year-old Beagle, Murphy, had been severely depressed in the months since his death. Beau managed to heal all of our broken hearts in record time. Murphy treated him like a member of the family from the moment he first arrived and we have been amazed to discover him curled up in Pepper's favorite places! We've never before had a furbaby who was so fond of toys and, admittedly, we have indulged him - his toy box would make any two-year-old jealous! He does adore his Dad, and is such a smarty-pants that we quickly had to begin to spell words around him (w-a-l-k, c-o-o-k-i-e).

He has also been a wonderful foster-brother to two MSRH schnauzers that we rescued and fostered before they went to their forever homes. He is such a happy, fun-loving, sweet-natured boy and he has brought so much joy and love into our lives. We are so grateful to MSRH for rescuing our sweet boy and for bringing him together with us - we can't imagine our lives without this wonderful bundle of love!

We made Bella a member of our family on July 5, 2006. And we weren't really sure at the time how she would fit into our family. First of all, we had never seen a white schnauzer before and were a little hesitant. We didn't know how another fur baby would change or impact our lives. Especially, our other (current) mini, Fritz - a six year old, 'only child.' Would he enjoy a companion? Would he feel slighted? Or jealous? How would he treat her?

Well, we took the plunge and we could not be happier. Fritz and Bella play together wonderfully! They run, and wrestle, and tug on toys.  They sleep together (in our bed, of course), and usually right next to each other. They are constant companions. Bella is such an affectionate, loving, sweet little girl. So eager to please, so willing to learn, and so easy to train. When mommy is running errands or we go out for awhile, she has full run of the house with Fritz. No crating or confining necessary. And they are both at the door barking greetings and wagging their nubs when we come home. We just love her to pieces!

We are so grateful to Karen, Sherry, and Mona for helping us to make Bella a much loved and appreciated member of our family.

Autumn Lea is very active - she and our other dogs love to run back and forth from one side of our yard to the other. She seems to have healed wonderfully except for the one back foot which is obviously still difficult for her to control - but we're still putting a baby bootie on that foot so she doesn't scrape it raw and she gets along fine.

We absolutely love our Schnauzers!  Autumn Lea is very alert, very loving and very, very smart. She amazes us every day with something new.

I want to thank you again for your support of the Schnauzer rescue and giving wonderful animals like Autumn Lea a second chance.

In August of 2006 we decided to get another Miniature Schnauzer to keep Berger (our other Mini) company. When we saw Reeses on the rescue site we fell in love. She has really become a part of our family! She enjoys romping through the apartment with Berger, chewing up socks, and licking. She especially loves to stand underneath me while I cook or play on the computer and lick, lick, lick! She also has no qualms about asking for attention. If she wants us to pet her she simply comes up and paws us lightly on the arm. If she is not satisfied with the amount or quality of our pets, and she never is, she will gradually paw harder and harder on our arms until we give in and pet her some more. She is such a joy! She is always a lady and well behaved, but she doesn't hesitate to put Berger in his place when he gets a little too rowdy. We are so happy to have her in our lives! Thank you MSRH for helping us find such a wonderful companion!

Charlie and Bagwell (now Dexter and Bo) are doing great and see each other all the time. My girlfriend and I keep Dexter and my parents (Dan and Leslie Matula) keep Bo along with their other mini named Anna Belle. My mom like to joke that we have a 'herd of wild schnauzers!' every time they get together. Thanks so much for everything and keep up the good work!
